I have known Rob for many years, initially during my executive career and latterly as I transitioned into PE backed non-executive roles, where he has supported me in both a client and a candidate capacity.  During this time, we have been able to build a strong working and personal relationship together based on high levels of trust, candour and clear communication.

We have worked together on several of my portfolio companies for CEO & CFO appointments, including the recent change of CEO for Stuart Turner.  This was a challenging search as the business was embarking upon on a renewed growth agenda under new ownership, particularly targeting M&A and new market development opportunities. 

We engaged Rob for the search as I knew he would conduct a thorough and robust process, identifying not only the established candidate community from within the sector, but also high potential talent in adjacent technologies and complimentary end markets.  This was particularly important in this instance as we wanted to identify candidates who were not already known to us in order to broaden the addressable talent pool. 

We were delighted with the strength and breadth of the shortlist and felt we had several candidates who ultimately could have been appointed.  In addition, Rob played a critical role in the negotiation process with the preferred candidate and was instrumental in securing their services.
