This was a critically important change for the organisation, not only replacing a long serving and trusted incumbent, but also identifying an individual who could partner with the CEO and broader business as it approached a likely planned transaction over the next 18 months or so.

Rob provided valuable insight into the current state of the UK Private Equity CFO market as it related to the quality and availability of candidates, supporting us as our thinking around the brief & critical skills required evolved and perhaps most importantly he was able to gain a rapid understanding of our culture and the sorts of personality profiles who would align well within the business.  

Ultimately, we were left with a tough decision between two highly credible and experienced candidates and this is a credit to Rob and rigour of the search process.
