I have worked with Rob on a number of pre-deal assignments in the last few years and he has been able to understand the sorts of advisors who we feel add significant value to our due-diligence process.  In the case of JSM, we were confident in backing the incumbent management team, however, we felt we needed a veteran private equity Non-Executive who could support us in relation to the development of our value creation plan and with Investment Committee.  Rob’s network of contacts and knowledge of our operating culture proved vital in the identification and attraction of a seasoned Non-Executive who provided critical support during our successful bid and complemented the existing composition of the Board.
